Meet Desiree (she/her)

Desireé Walker is a New York Native, Certified Coach, and founder of Intentionally on Purpose Coaching (IOP), LLC. With 25 years of professional experience, she has served in Virginia state government in the field of corrections, working with both adult and juvenile populations. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles, focused on management, team development, and cultivating accountability in high-performance environments. She also brings nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, which strengthened her understanding of human behavior, communication, and the complex factors that can influence personal and professional growth.

Today, Coach Desireé empowers individuals, youth, teams, leaders, and organizations strengthen intentionality, self-confidence, and accountability. Her coaching approach is grounded in creating space for diverse perspectives, equitable practices, and intentional leadership that helps individuals and teams thrive. Her mission is to help people show up with purpose, build stronger connections, and reach their full potential. Through practical strategies, authentic conversations, and real-world experience, she inspires others to move beyond limitations and embrace purposeful growth.

Desireé holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University and professional certifications as a Solutions-Focused Coach and Life Coach from the Universal Coach Institute (UCI).

Outside of her professional work, Coach Desireé enjoys traveling, exploring new opportunities to learn, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and close friends.
