Meet Kathleen (she/her)

Kathleen has spent over two decades in Fortune 500 companies, Department of Defense, small to mid-size businesses, and non-profit organizations. As a technology and operations leader in different industries, Kathleen had the unique opportunity to experience a spectrum of team, company, and organizational cultures ranging from healthy and productive to dysfunctional and toxic. For much of her career, she championed and advocated for equitable, fair, and inclusive organizational practices that impacted historically underrepresented groups like women and people of color.

Kathleen founded Lōkahi Places because she recognizes the persistent challenges that organizations face in fostering healthy, positive, inclusive environments, which has proved to be even more challenging today. She realizes the urgency and need for younger generations like Gen Z to work, live, and gather in places that value their ever-increasing diversity. Kathleen understands the powerful interconnection between culture, leadership, operations, and innovation. She is passionate about working with communities, organizations, and teams to create healthy, harmonious, and inclusive cultures that reflect the Hawaiian concept of Lōkahi.

Kathleen is an engaging speaker, instructor, and facilitator. She holds a B.S. in Information Systems and professional certifications in Risk Management and Compliance (CRCMP), Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (CDP), Project Management (PMP), Business Process Management (BPM), and Business Intelligence (CBIP).
